At On the Bayou Tutoring Inc., our Homework Help service provides personalized academic support to help students complete assignments with confidence and understanding. Designed for grades K–8, we offer help across core subjects. Whether your child is falling behind, needs a confidence boost, or struggles with staying organized, our tutors offer more than just answers we teach strategies, coach through challenges, and encourage independence. We work at the student’s pace and adapt to their learning style, including those with IEPs, 504 Plans, ADHD, or other learning differences. Every session includes: Guided support with current assignments Step-by-step explanations for difficult tasks Study and time management strategies Encouragement to build motivation and self-esteem Our goal is not only to help students get their work done, but to truly understand the material and feel proud of what they’ve accomplished. We also stay in communication with parents and can align with teacher feedback when available. Whether your child needs support a few times a month or ongoing weekly sessions, we’re here to help make homework time less stressful for both students and parents.
Cancellation Policy
📌 Cancellation & No-Show Policy At On the Bayou Tutoring Inc., we value your time and commitment to your child’s academic growth. To provide the best experience for all families and maintain consistency in scheduling, we kindly ask that you review and adhere to the following policy: 📆 Cancellations Notice Required: Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice for any session cancellation. How to Cancel: You may cancel via email, phone, or through our booking system. Rescheduling: We’ll do our best to reschedule canceled sessions within the same week, based on availability. Late Cancellations: Sessions canceled with less than 24 hours' notice may be charged 50% of the session fee, unless due to emergency. 🚫 No-Shows A session is considered a no-show if the student is more than 15 minutes late without communication. No-shows will be charged the full session rate and may not be eligible for make-up. 💬 Emergencies & Flexibility We understand that life happens! If a last-minute cancellation is due to illness or emergency, please let us know as soon as possible—we will handle these situations with compassion and flexibility. ✅ Why This Policy Matters Consistent attendance helps your child build academic confidence and progress toward their goals.
