Meet the Founder

Bio
My name is Stanley and I’m the founder of On the Bayou Tutoring Inc. As a passionate educator, father, and lifelong learner, I started this company to serve students who deserve more than just instruction. All students deserve advocacy, cultural connection, and confidence in their abilities.
After more than 15 years in management and human resources, I transitioned into education with a clear purpose: to empower students, especially those with learning differences, to succeed academically and beyond. Inspired by strong family roots and the legacy of Black educators before me, I’ve dedicated my life to helping students see their potential—even when others can’t.
